1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. 2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, 3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season. 4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. 7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, 8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. 9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. 10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are , and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. 14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
1 Şi am văzut un înger care cobora din cer şi avea cheia adâncului şi un lanţ mare în mâna sa. 2 El l-a prins pe Balaur, Şarpele cel vechi, care este Diavolul şi Satana şi l-a legat pentru o mie de ani 3 şi l-a aruncat în adânc, l-a închis şi a pus pecetea deasupra lui ca să nu mai înşele neamurile până când se vor sfârşi cei o mie de ani. După acestea trebuie să fie dezlegat pentru puţin timp.
4 Şi am văzut tronuri, iar celor care s-au aşezat pe ele li s-a dat să facă judecată. Am văzut sufletele celor cărora li s-a tăiat capul pentru mărturisirea lui Iisus şi pentru cuvântul lui Dumnezeu şi pe toţi cei care nu s-au închinat Fiarei, nici chipului ei şi nici nu au primit pecetea pe frunte şi pe mână. Ei au înviat şi au domnit împreună cu Hristos o mie de ani. 5 Ceilalţi morţi nu au înviat până când nu s-au terminat cei o mie de ani. Aceasta este prima înviere. 6 Fericit şi sfânt este cel care are parte de prima înviere. Asupra lor a doua moarte nu are putere, ci ei vor fi preoţi ai lui Dumnezeu şi ai lui Hristos şi vor împărăţi cu El o mie de ani.
7 Şi când se vor sfârşi cei o mie de ani Satana va fi dezlegat din închisoarea lui 8 şi va ieşi să înşele neamurile din cele patru colţuri ale pământului, Gog şi Magog, şi să îi adune la război. Numărul lor este ca nisipul mării. 9 Ei s-au întins pe tot pământul şi au înconjurat tabăra sfinţilor şi cetatea cea iubită. Însă a coborât foc din cer şi i-a nimicit. 10 Iar Diavolul, care i-a înşelat, a fost aruncat în lacul de foc şi sulf în care sunt Fiara şi Profetul mincinos şi vor fi chinuiţi zi şi noapte, în vecii vecilor.
11 Şi am văzut un tron mare şi alb şi pe cel care şedea pe el, dinaintea feţei căruia au fugit pământul şi cerul şi nu s-a mai găsit loc pentru ele. 12 Şi i-am văzut pe cei morţi, pe cei mari şi pe cei mici stând înaintea tronului, şi au fost deschise nişte cărţi; şi s-a mai deschis o carte, cartea vieţii. Iar morţii au fost judecaţi din cele scrise în cărţi, după faptele lor. 13 Iar marea i-a dat pe morţii din ea şi moartea şi iadul i-au dat pe morţii din ele şi au fost judecaţi fiecare după faptele lor. 14 Iar moartea şi iadul au fost aruncate în lacul de foc. Aceasta este a doua moarte, lacul de foc. 15 Iar dacă cineva nu a fost găsit scris în cartea vieţii, a fost aruncat în lacul de foc.
